This week at CHARS Youth FC, we had another fantastic Tuesday night training session at Goffs Churchgate Academy. The energy on the pitch was electric as our young players worked hard to hone their skills, showcase their teamwork, and demonstrate the values that make our club so special. Amidst the drills and matches, we took a moment to celebrate two standout players from our u12 teams: Bradley from the u12 Blues and Vinnie from the u12 Yellows, who were named Players of the Month for their exceptional contributions on and off the pitch.
At CHARS Youth FC, our Player of the Month award is about more than just performance during matches. We recognise players who embody the core values of our club: punctuality, hard work, dedication, a positive attitude, and good behaviour during training. Both Bradley and Vinnie have consistently demonstrated these qualities, making them deserving recipients of this month’s honour.
Bradley – u12 Blues Player of the Month
Bradley has been a shining example of what it means to be a team player. His commitment to improving his game and his unwavering enthusiasm during training sessions have not gone unnoticed. u12 Blues coach Brett had this to say about Bradley:
"Bradley has been an absolute pleasure to coach this month. His work ethic is second to none – he’s always the first to arrive and the last to leave, and he gives 100% in every drill and match. What really stands out about Bradley is his attitude. He’s always encouraging his teammates, listening to feedback, and striving to improve. He’s a true role model for the rest of the squad, and I’m thrilled to see him recognised as our Player of the Month."
Vinnie – u12 Yellows Player of the Month
Vinnie has also been a standout player for the u12 Yellows, impressing coaches and teammates alike with his dedication and skill. Coach Mark James shared his thoughts on Vinnie’s achievements:
"Vinnie has had an incredible month. His technical ability on the pitch is fantastic, but what really sets him apart is his attitude and behaviour. He’s always punctual, always ready to learn, and he brings a positive energy to every session. Vinnie is a great team player – he supports his teammates, listens to instructions, and works hard to implement what we’ve been practicing in training. He’s a deserving winner of this award, and I’m excited to see how he continues to grow as a player and as a person."
A Club Built on Values
At CHARS Youth FC, we believe that football is about more than just winning matches. It’s about developing young players into well-rounded individuals who understand the importance of hard work, respect, and teamwork. Bradley and Vinnie exemplify these values, and we couldn’t be prouder to have them as part of our club.
Congratulations to both Bradley and Vinnie on their well-deserved awards! We’re looking forward to seeing more great things from them – and from all our players – as the season continues.
Keep up the hard work, CHARS Youth FC – the future is bright!
