Excitement Builds for Mid Herts Rural Minors League Cup Finals




The anticipation is palpable as CHARS Youth FC gears up for the highly anticipated Mid Herts Rural Minors League Cup Finals, set to take place on Saturday, May 18th, at the Ridgeway Academy in Welwyn Garden City. With two of our talented teams, the U9 Greens and the U11 Blues, vying for glory, the stage is set for an unforgettable day of football action.


Coach Steve Halls, leading the U9 Greens, expresses his excitement ahead of the final clash against Boca Jogabonito. "The atmosphere is electric as we prepare for the Cup Final," says Halls. "The boys have worked incredibly hard to reach this stage, and they're eager to showcase their skills and determination on the pitch. We'll be fine-tuning our game plan in training sessions this week, and I have every confidence in our team's ability to deliver a stellar performance."


Meanwhile, Chairman Joe Westmacott shares his thoughts on the U11 Blues' upcoming showdown against Bengeo Tigers Siberians. "It's a thrilling moment for our U11 Blues to compete in the Cup Final," says Westmacott. "They've demonstrated tremendous dedication and resilience throughout the season, and this final is a testament to their hard work. As they make their final preparations in training, I urge all our supporters to come out and cheer for the team. It's sure to be an exciting match."


The schedule for the Cup Finals promises a full day of thrilling football action, with the U11 Blues kicking off against Bengeo Tigers Siberians at 09:30 on pitch 11, followed by the U9 Greens taking on Boca Jogabonito at 14:15 on the astro pitch. Fans are encouraged to show their support and cheer on both teams as they vie for victory.
