CHARS Youth FC U9 Blues: Cup Final Glory Awaiting!
Our U9 Blues, led by their passionate and dedicated coaches Charlie Johns and Cesc Vulaj, are heading to the Mid Herts Rural Minors League Green Division Cup Final this Sunday, 18th May, at Panshanger FC. This is a momentous occasion for both the team and the club as a whole, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved so far this season.
The Journey to the Final
The U9 Blues have shown tremendous growth and dedication throughout the season, overcoming challenges and rising to the occasion in every match. Their hard work, team spirit, and determination have earned them a well-deserved place in the final. The team has displayed skill and resilience, and their progression in the Mid Herts Rural Minors League has been nothing short of impressive. Now, they’re ready to take on Risden Wood in what is sure to be an exciting and competitive Cup Final.
Coaches Charlie Johns and Cesc Vulaj, have been instrumental in shaping the team’s development. Their approach combines technical skills with a strong emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun. Charlie shared his excitement ahead of the final:
"It’s an incredibly proud moment for me as a coach to see the boys make it this far. They’ve worked tirelessly throughout the season, and it’s fantastic to see their hard work paying off. Regardless of the result, this final is a huge achievement for the whole team, and I’m looking forward to seeing them give their all on the pitch. We’ve been building something special, and I know the boys are ready for this challenge!"

A Proud Moment for CHARS Youth FC
As a club, we couldn’t be prouder of the U9 Blues for making it to the Cup Final. This achievement reflects the strength and unity of the entire CHARS Youth FC family, as well as the hard work put in by all involved, from coaches and players to parents and volunteers. It’s moments like these that highlight the sense of community and the supportive environment we’ve worked so hard to create at CHARS Youth FC.
The final is an opportunity for the team to showcase their talent, grit, and determination, but it’s also a chance for us to come together as a club and show our support. We believe in celebrating the success of all our teams, and the U9 Blues are no exception. The final will be held at Panshanger FC, and we know the boys would be thrilled to see plenty of familiar faces in the crowd. Let’s make it a morning to remember and demonstrate the strength of our CHARS family.
