CHARS Youth FC U10 Blues have etched their names in club history by emerging victorious at the ESF 2024 tournament held at Butlins Bognor Regis over the weekend. Out of the 40 teams that entered the event, our young talents showcased their skills and determination on the pitch, ultimately clinching the championship.
ESF 2024 stands as the largest youth football festival in the UK, drawing thousands of young players from across the country. Against stiff competition, our U10 Blues demonstrated resilience and teamwork, earning them the prestigious title.
Adding to the excitement of their victory, the U10 Blues were honoured to receive the trophy from none other than legendary ex-Liverpool and England star John Barnes. His presence added an extra layer of significance to the moment, inspiring our players to reach even greater heights.
As winners of the Bognor Regis event, our U10 Blues now progress to the next stage: a tournament against all UK tour winners at St George’s Park, the esteemed home of England Football. This presents an exciting opportunity for our players to showcase their talent on a national stage.
Looking ahead, as our U10s transition to U11s next season, we extend an invitation to young talents interested in joining CHARS Youth FC to get in touch with Joe Westmacott. As we celebrate our U10 Blues' success, we also eagerly anticipate welcoming new players to our club and continuing our journey of growth and development.
CHARS Youth FC is immensely proud of our U10 Blues' achievements at ESF 2024 and excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. With dedication, teamwork, and passion, we aim to build on this success and create more memorable moments on and off the pitch.
